Our Current Projects
COMMUNITY MUSIC EXPERIENCE
The CME is a way to connect teenage musicians with each other and with professional musicians. We bring together teens to play and share music with each other, and to be mentored by professional musicians. Our goal is to facilitate a community that benefits everyone involved.
CME PROGRAMS INCLUDE
1. Master Classes
2. Songwriting Workshops
3. Booking "gigs" for teen musicians, professional musicians, and both together
4. Mentoring professional musicians in the art of teaching.
5. Weekly gatherings to share music and learn from each other
Our Goals:
To continue these programs and expand our community.
What we need:
To continue running the Community Music Experience we need to raise $3200 per semester.
HEALTHY ARTISTS PROJECT
The Healthy Artists Project is designed to offer resources and support to musicians and artists.
H.A.P. PILOT PROGRAM:
We are beginning the Healthy Artists Project with consultations and connections. Our program will connect local musicians and artists with resources to advise and guide them through challenges that artists often face, including accounting, promotion, mental health, insurance issues, and connecting to other musicians, artists and organizations that will advance their career.
THE NEXT STEP
A successful pilot program will lead to both the sustainability of this program and also the ability to provide some of these resources and low or no cost.
WHAT WE NEED:
For a successful 4 month pilot program we need to raise $7200.
